LBA offers 3 levels of baseball:  Recreational, Intermediate, and Competitive/Travel.   The Competitive League is managed under Power Alley Baseball.  More information on Power Alley Baseball can be obtained by clicking on the Power Alley Link at the top of the website.  

Recreational League involves 12 games plus an end of season tournament and is meant for the beginner player looking to focus on the fundamentals of the game.  All games are played at Centennial Baseball fields and practices are limited once games begin.  

Intermediate League involves 12 games plus an end of season tournament.   This league is meant for the intermediate skill level that is looking to play better competition and have more practice time.   Tryouts are held for these teams and they are only formed if there are enough skilled players to form the team.    These teams play intermediate teams from across Northern Colorado and will play games in both Loveland and surrounding areas.    If you try out for an intermediate team and don't make it, your player will be automatically placed on a Recreational team and you will be refunded the difference.  Intermediate Tryouts will be held on Feb 26, 2023 (more info on home page).

To determine the correct age group, please refer to the following guidelines:

8U Division: Players who turn 9 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 2nd grade. Also, any player turning 10 prior to August 1 will not be eligible. Players who are 8u are eligible for this division regardless of their grade.

10U Division: Players who turn 11 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 4th grade. Also, any player turning 12 prior to August 1 will not be eligible. Players who are 10u are eligible for this division regardless of their grade.

12U Division: Players who turn 13 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 6th grade. Also, any player turning 14 prior to August 1 will not be eligible. Players who are 12u are eligible for this division regardless of their grade.

14U Division: Players who turn 15 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are in the 8th grade. Also, any player turning 16 prior to August 1 will not be eligible. Players who are 14u eligible are eligible for this division regardless of grade.

17U Division: Players who turn 18 prior to May 1 of the current season are not eligible unless they are a junior in High School. Also, any player turning 19 prior to August 1 will not be eligible. Players who are 17u are eligible for this division regardless of their grade.
